Badillo, Brodett share honors in Senior Care

MANILA, Philippines –  Mario Badillo of The Manila Southwoods and Philip Brodett of Canlubang shared top honors in the recent 10th edition of the Senior Care Fellowship Golf Classic tournament at the south course of the Canlubang Golf and Country Club in Laguna.

Badillo captured the overall net award via a countback with a net score of 66 while Brodett came through with an impressive two-under-par 70 for the lowest gross plum in the tourney organized by the Federation of Golf Clubs Phils., Inc. (FedGolf).

Division winners were Oh Jie Sik, Isamu Watanabe, Rolando Kapunan, Ernie Ocampo and Popoy Flores.

Oh Jie Sik was the classic division champion, winning over Lee Nak Young and Sonny Pangilinan in the event also also supported by lawyer Gilberto Duavit, Cran-UTI, ABW and Gargol.

Watanabe led the top three finishers in the elite category. Guillermo Viola and Rodolfo Manuel, Kapunan, Antonio Ong and Rene Garcellano were 1-2-3 in the statesmen competition, Ernie Ocampo, Inocencio De Leon, Jr. and Hector Rivera made up the Vintage top three and Flores, Charles Robertson and Emiliano Francisco topped the super seniors event.

Up next for the Federation is the Ladies Federation League which precedes the Men’s Federation League.
