Jalandoni, Estacio rule world derby
MANILA, Philippines – Negros Occidental breeder Johnny Jalandoni and businessman Teng Estacio crushed the opposition to emerge champions in the National Cockers Alliance (NCA) World Championship Derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig recently.
Jalandoni and Estacio’s entry Unica Hija pooled 6 1/2 points to rule the three-day event, sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor, which gathered the country’s leading breeders.
Finishing joint second with six points were Jimafe B-GE, Magnefor Camsur, IM Sta, Monica 5-cock Feb 1-8-15-22, Bel-Wolves and Goldquest Champions.
Against All Odds, PEBR Cong. MP Cavite Big Event Mar. 8, 2011, SF San Roque Ckpt Jan. 16 6-cock, Oliver San Leo, Pasay Int’l 4M Grtd. 8-cock Jan. 25-28 & 30, Ramloid, RDA Farm, Pasig PE, Tata Pete San Leo, Ju As Jacob and Rizal all wound up with five points.
Jac Geran scored 4 1/2 points.
Meanwhile, the next NCA derby, to be hosted by Vice Mayor Cipriano Violago and Bebot Uy, will be held Feb. 1.
