HK dart elims set tomorrow
MANILA, Philippines – The first of a series of qualifying competitions for two slots in the Hong Kong Dart Open will be held tomorrow at the NU Grill, Ambassador car park along Mabini, Malate, Manila.
Cash prizes, trophies and raffle items worth P25,000 will be up for grabs.
The Philippine Dart Tour will initially send two darters to the HK Open scheduled in November this year.
Entry fee is P220 per player. Registration is at 6:30 p.m. with the tourney starting at 8 p.m.
Before the main event, there will be side events called “9 Darts Challenges” for the highest score and most number of bullseyes. Winners will receive dart boards and cash prizes.
Lady darters will also compete in a singles event, with the winner getting P3,000 and a trophy.
The event is organized by Cubie and Manuel Ballesca and Reggie Francisco and supported by Jojo Claudio of Toby’s Sports, Steve Dorotheo of Dartware/Unicorn Darts and Andy and Cora Mercado of Terton Craft.
