FEU spikers down Ateneo in opener

MANILA, Philippines - Far Eastern University’s Charmaine Sison and Anna Kryzsle Gako beat Ateneo’s Sharah So and Khryzette Onishi, 21-14, 16-21, 16-14, at the start of the PCSO Metro Manila women’s inter-collegiate beach volleyball series at the Cantada Sports Center in Taguig City.

Nine teams are entered in this event backed by PCSO, Mapecon and Toyota Balintawak.

Organized by Joe Cantada Sports, officials of the Philippine Volleyball Federation conducted the tournament which serves as a run-up to a busy beach volley series at the fully-equipped sports center.

“We have in store for everybody, more to come for our young athletes and our loyal followers in the sports center,” said Edgardo “Tito Boy” Cantada.
