Garcia, German coach grace PSA

MANILA, Philippines - Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman Richie Garcia and the new coach of the Philippine men’s football team lead the panel of guests in the PSA Forum today at Shakey’s UN Ave.

Garcia is going to discuss the preparations being made by his office for this year’s 26th Southeast Asian Games in Indonesia, while Hans Michael Weiss, the German mentor of the Azkals, makes his first ever appearance in the public sports session aired live over DZSR Sports Radio 918 and presented by Outlast Battery, PAGCOR and Shakey’s, since taking over the post left by Simon McMenemy.

Joining the two in the 10:30 a.m. forum are Grandmaster Jonathan Abaya, International Jendo Federation (IJF) president, and IJF vice president Gilbert Artificio to talk about the debut of the Filipino martial art of jendo in the 3rd International Martial Art Games in Talinn, Estonia from Feb. 23 to 27.
