Balce-Javier bags ABC doubles
MANILA, Philippines - Alex Balce and Ronnie Javier of Medwest Tech. Inst. combined for 1815 as they topped the opening doubles fun game in the Architects Bowling Club weekly tournament at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.
Bert Magsakay and 2011 ABC president Noel del Rosario of United Pipes placed second with 1735 while Ryan Jalandoon and Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables rolled 1733 to finish third in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
Meanwhile, Del Rosario is inviting all licensed architects to join the tournament held every Tuesday as ABC braces for its 34th anniversary bash in Bangkok in May.
Del Rosario (269) also heads the high game 250 club sponsor, which includes Jalandoon (267), Buddy Segui (259), Hermie Prudente (256) and Romi de Jesus (250).
Action in the event, backed by Concrete Ventures, Famcor, DN Steel, Boysen Konstruct/Knoxout/Virtuoso, Crown Pipes, Supreme Pipes Corp., ABC Phils., Pro Active Pest Control, Duraflex Wires and Cables, American Wires, Ta-tong, Atlanta Tiles, Euro Dach, Hocheng Phils., Universal Tech/Pansun, Emerald Vinyl, Firefly-Royu and SP&A, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of another fun game, also at the Green Valley lanes.
