Coach E opens classes
MANILA, Philippines – Coach E Basketball School starts 2011 sessions at venues in Quezon City, Makati, San Juan and Alabang starting this month.
International Basketball Academy’s Jod Penson said the school encourages not only beginners but those players eyeing slots for their school and community teams.
Aside from the regular module, also scheduled is the varsity training program which will start with the advanced individual skills development program for varsity players 8-16 years old.
“Our new modules come a few months before summer starts so we would like our students to take this opportunity to learn the right way to play basketball, and that is the Coach E way,” says Penson, who said that Coach E accepts students even below seven years old and above 12 years old.

The classes are at Xavier in San Juan starting January 10 (Monday and Thursday from 4-6 pm), Club 650 in Libis starting January 14 (Friday from 5-7 pm and Saturday from 10 am-12 pm) and The Zone in Makati starting Jan. 15 (Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 12 noon). Classes at San Beda Alabang open on Jan. 15 (Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 12 noon).
Coach E Basketball School boasts of Asia’s lowest instructor-to-student ratio at 1: 5 and has three modules that are divided into training sessions to focus on fundamentals and shot training.
