BEST Center holds January clinics
MANILA, Philippines – The new year starts with youth basketball action as the pioneering Best Center (Basketball Efficiency and Scientific Training Center) begins a busy month with cage clinics in three venues.
The Milo-sponsored Best Center, with over three decades of experience in conducting sports clinics all over the country and a recipient of the Hall of Fame Award from the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA), will hold Saturday clinics from Jan. 8-Feb. 26 at the Ateneo covered courts.
The Ateneo clinics will be held 8:30-11:30 a.m. with courses in Introduction to Basketball: Level 1 (ballhandling and dribbling), Level 2 (shooting) and Level 3 (individual defense).
Also on the same dates, Xavier School will have its own Best Center clinics from 1-4 p.m. for students enrolled in Levels 1, 2 and 3.
Every Sunday from Jan. 9, Starmall-Alabang will also have courses in Levels 1, 2 and 3 from 1-4 p.m.
