Lhuillier tops Manila slo-pitch

MANILA, Philippines - Former Ateneo hurler Julius Visaya hit a grand slam as defending champion Cebuana Lhuillier beat Pera Padala, 7-4, in the finals of the Manila Slo-pitch Softball League 2010 at the Rosario field recently.

The Jewelers leaned on timely hits by Apol Rosales and Jeff Hardillo before Visaya came through with the homer to power the Jean Henri Lhuillier team to its fourth consecutive MSSL regular season crown.

Cebuana had to rally past the Entom Los Baños Tigers, 15-9 victory, to gain a crack at the title.
