SEAG heroes tapped Speedo endorsers
MANILA, Philippines - SEA Games gold medalist and Philippine 50m butterfly record holder Daniel Coakley and silver medalist Charlie Walker have joined the star-studded foreign roster of Speedo endorsers that includes American stars Natalie Coughlin, Ryan Lochte, Tyler Clary and Jessica Hardy.
Coakley and Walker, along with the other Speedo stars Garrett Weber-Gale, Peter Vanderkaay, Katie Hoff, Christine Magnuson, Dana Vollmer and Kate Ziegler, saw action in the 10th Fina World Swimming Championships in Dubai recently.
The five-day competition drew over 140 national teams and more than 1,000 athletes, who competed in 40 events.
Speedo also supported the campaigns of Australian Leisel Jones and Obaid Al Jasimi of the UAE and outfitted the teams of the US, Canada, Australia and Great Britain, among others.
Joining Coakley and Walker in the event were national coach Pinky Brosas and Philippine Aquatic Sports Association president Mark Joseph.
As an official partner of FINA, Speedo had a unique access to the Dubai World Championships and along with event branding opportunities, Speedo held other activities that highlighted the brand’s involvement.
