NCA stages derby Dec. 14

MANILA, Philippines - The country’s top breeders gather again next week when the National Cockers Alliance (NCA) holds a blockbuster derby on Dec. 14 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Hosted by Rep. Iggy Arroyo, Tommy Chua and Osang dela Cruz, the event features high-caliber cockfights featuring the entries of the top breeders in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Arroyo and Johnny Jalandoni will lead the group from Bacolod while Gerry Ramos, Manny and Armand Santos, Ruel Ricafort, Jun Topacio, Jimmy Ang, Manny Sagon, Eric dela Rosa and Buchoy, Mario Villamor, James Uy, Eddie Gonzales and Jun Santiago.

Leading the Central Luzon group are Cipriano Violago, Bebot Roxas, Efren Canlas, Jun and Rudy Jingco, Terence Madlangbayan and brothers, Jet Fernando, Boyet Joson and Allan Tan, Bebot Villar, Ellan Nagano, Pete Ison and Alex and Gerry Escalona.

Also in the fold are Homer Mercado and friends, Ito Ynares, Jun Mendoza, Danny and Joel Teves, Romy Lim and Bong Carreon from Southern Luzon, Patrick Antonio and Rudy Albano from Northern Luzon, Ricky Magtoto and Teng Ranola from Bicol and Bebot Uy from Mindanao.
