UCLAA action resumes
MANILA, Philippines - Co-league leader St. Francis of Assisi battles De Ocampo while National College of Business Administration takes on Las Piñas College in a pair of senior matches today in the third UCLAA basketball championship at the Central Colleges of the Philippines gym.
The NCBA-LPC tussle is set at 12 noon, while the SFAC-DOMC encounter follows at 1:30 p.m.
Two junior matches pit Las Piñas versus Philippine College of Criminology at 9 a.m. and St. Francis with NCBA at 10:30 a.m.
St. Francis and PCCr are tied with 3-0 win-loss cards in the seniors division, Las Piñas has a 3-2 slate, St. Dominic Savio 1-2, De Ocampo 2-3, NCBA 1-3, and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa 0-4.
PCCr paces the juniors with a 3-0 slate, St. Francis has 2-0, University of the East 2-1, NCBA 1-2, St. Dominic 1-2, Kings Montessori 0-2, and Las Piñas 0-2.
In senior games last Wednesday, NCBA held off Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa, 67-62, Las Piñas rallied from 16 points down to beat St. Dominic Savio, 74-73, and PCCR turned back De Ocampo, 85-82.
A lone juniors match saw St. Dominic Savio beating Kings Montessori, 119-110, after tailing 61-57 at the half.
