MANILA, Philippines - The AirAsia-Philippine Patriots try to arrest a three-game skid with a new import as they collide with the Kuala Lumpur Dragons today in the AirAsia ASEAN Basketball League at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Steve Thomas, a former PBA import, hopes to make things happen for the Patriots who are out to avenge their 96-81 defeat to the Dragons two weeks ago.
Gametime is at 4 p.m.
“I can see that he’s determined to help the team because he practiced right away upon his arrival the other day,” said Patriots coach Louie Alas. “He’s strong inside the paint so we have to take advantage of that.”
Thomas and teammate Hashiem Wright will go up against Kuala Lumpur’s imports Alex Hartman and Nakiea Miller.
