Clear Sabak, Borling reign in Tri United

MANILA, Philippines - Brian Borling bucked the challenge and a tough field to capture the individual crown while Team Clear Sabak topped the relay category in the Tri United triathlon at the Whiterock Waterpark and Beach Hotel in Subic recently.

Borling bested Ferdinand Catabian II and LC Langit in the individual category of the event dubbed as the ultimate test of endurance in the triathlon arena.

Team Clear Sabak copped the grand plum in the relay category with Team Island Cove Tri and Tribe-Mixed finishing second and third, respectively.

Tri United is the second event under the Unilab ActiveHealth series which included a 2K swim, 91K bike and 20K run competitions, which drew over 200 entries in the individual and relay team categories. The first was the Bike United, which lured close to 1,300 biking enthusiasts.

The Unilab ActiveHealth series aims to provide lifestyle solutions and opportunities to help families stay active together. Aside from the individual and relay triathlon races, the Tri United also featured a Tri Kids clinic conducted by triathlon coach Ani de Leon.
