Fore by Four tourney unfolds at Eagle Ridge

MANILA, Philippines - The Fore By Four Invitational member-guest tournament of the giant Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in Gen. Trias, Cavite will be played today and tomorrow with three units of the hot-selling Hyundai Accent up for grabs.

The grand raffle prize for the tourney is a pair of Hyundai Accent cars which will be awarded to a member and his chosen guest partner while another Accent sedan, one of the best-selling models of the Korean auto company worth almost P700,000, will serve as a hole-in-one prize.

Sta. Lucia Realty Development, Inc., which is staking a premium lot at the Rio de Oro subdivision in Gen. Trias for another hole-in-one, is one of the major sponsors that also includes Alsons Land Corp. Autohub Group and Hyundai Global City.

The event is also sponsored by Philgreen, East Asia, WG Golf, RizGolf, Aqua Dyne, The Turf Equipment, Makkoli Cocktails, Ancilla Domini Graphics, DMD Cool, Amega, G&W Club Shares, LG, Lipovitan, Maruman, PacSports, Phiten, Purefoods, San Miguel and Srixon.

Class A and Class C teams will play the Norman and Dye layouts while those in Class B, Class D and the ladies divisions will be at the Aoki and Faldo courses.

The four-course set-up makes it easy for Eagle to accommodate a big field for the Fore By Four and get the tournament done without the usual rest days for some as everybody plays under the same conditions and finish at the same time.

The entry fee of P8,000 per team or P4,000 per player already covers for giveways, breakfast and lunch, cart fees, a free practice round for the guest and raffle tickets for both players.
