MANILA, Philippines - Young karters gear up for the final leg of 2010 Magnolia Purewater Karting Super Series, which fires off at the Carmona Racetrack on Sunday.
While Christian Gaddi of Jet Racing had the Formula SL Novice plum in the bag, Cebuano Jette Calderon and Basti Escalante of Ready2Race go for the ROK Novice and Mini-ROK crowns.
Gaddi is way ahead in the Formula SL Novice class with 378 points as Christopher Joseph Tsui of Ready2Race stood too far behind with 256 points.
Cebuano Joseph Marwin Rojo is in third with 227 while FERN-C Racing’s Sacha Feliciano and Matthew Chan tote 193 and 190 points, respectively.
Joining the field in the event sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines and sponsored by Magnolia Purewater, San Miguel Corporation, Petron Corporation, Yokohama Tires, Motorstar and Aeromed are Ayrton Cuesta, Daniel Miranda of M. Lhuillier, Kali Carcel, Adrian Tambuyat, JT Gullas, Wayne Norman Darvin of Ready2Race, Coleen Yap and Jaz Monzones of GP1 Racing.
