NCA final leg up at Ynares

MANILA, Philippines - The country’s top cockers gear up for tomorrow’s final leg of the National Cockers Association (NCA) derby as they fight it out for the Stag Fighter of the Year honors at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

The event will be hosted by top breeders Gerry Ramos, the Batangas Group and Ricky Magtoto.

Iggy Arroyo and Arnold Mendoza are the frontrunners for the top fighter title with 19 1/2 points.

Danny Mendoza, who topped the last leg last week, has 18 points while Efren Canlas and Ruel Ricafort tote 16 points apiece.

Magtoto is also in the hunt with 14 1/2 points while half-a-point behind are Johnny Jalandoni, Rene Medina and Louie Martinez, Osang dela Cruz, and Jun Mendoza.
