NCA holds last derby at Ynares
MANILA, Philippines - The race for fighter of the year award heats up as the National Cockers Alliance (NCA) holds the last leg on its stag derby circuit on Oct. 19 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
The derby will be hosted by Gerry Ramos, the Batangas Group and Ricky Magtoto.
Ruel Ricafort and the Batangas Group dominated the last leg last week with Trofacir 114 of Ricafort and Deni of the Batangas Group emerging as co-champions with five points each.
JM San Leo-Kons and Red Creek of Arnold Mendoza shared runner-up honors with four points.
Win Against All Odds of Gerry Ramos, Jimafer BG-1 of Rudy Jingco, and Camsur sa Pasay Oct. 15 6-Stag of Ricky Magtoto wound up with identical 3 1/2 points.
The other top finishers were Jimafer BG of Efren Canlas, Pax Renegade Amm of Rene Medina and Louie Martinez, Binangonan of Gov. Ito Ynares, Star of Negros of Johnny Jalandoni, Jade Resort MBE Red 1 of Arman Santos, and Pasay RCD Oct. 22 4-Stag of Rep. Patrick Antonio ended up with three points each.
Others fielding in their entries in the circuit’s final derby are Romy Lim, Danny Mendoza, Boy Jiao, Lito Orillaza, Vice Mayor Nestor Mercado, V. Sierra, T. Ranola, the Madlangbayan brothers, Bebot Roxas, EDR, Johnny Jalandoni, Patrick Antonio, Emil Chua, Ricky Valencia, Mayor Ellan Nagaño, Jun Soriano, Vice Mayor Goto, Elmer Nepomuceno, Arman Santos, and Ricky Magtoto.
