Blue Water Day Spa fun run up

MANILA, Philippines - The Blue Water Day Spa fun run braces for a huge turnout of registrants this week with entry fee now pegged at only P300 for all events, including the 3K, 5K and the centerpiece 10K run.

Listup ends on Oct. 14 with the event set Oct. 17 at the SM Mall of Asia grounds, according to the organizing Blue Water Day Spa and Event King Corp.

“We’re giving this special treat so participants can jazz up their singlets more,” said Blue Water Day Spa president Francis Ryan Simisim.

The “Jazz Up Your Singlet” contest is one of the event’s highlights in line with the fun run’s theme of “Innovating Wholeness” with fabulous prizes at stake.

The entire singlet may be decorated provided that the Blue Water Day Spa logo is not covered and should be completely seen and highlighted. Selected best designed singlets will have a chance to ramp their singlets down the catwalk after the run.

Registration is open at Timex outlets at SM MOA and Glorietta, Rox at Bonifacio High Street and Columbia at Greenbelt 5, Rest Toe Run at Gateway, Urban Luxe Facial Center and Spa at Ayala Alabang and Blue Water Day Spa in Makati, Ortigas, Eastwood, Tomas Morato and Capitol Hills.

The other highlight of the event, set at 5 a.m., is the participation of latest BWDS endorsers Sam Milby and Mika Lagdameo-Martinez, along with Karylle, Boom Labrusca, running coach Rio dela Cruz, Daniel Matsunaga and Fabio Ide and 40 Brazilian models.
