Canlas tops NCA derby

MANILA, Philippines –  Efren Canlas’ entry Jimafer BG dominated the field to rule the third leg of the National Cockers Alliance stag derby circuit at the Ynares Sports Arena recently.

Jimafer BG wound up with 5 1/2 points to beat Ruel Ricafort’s Trofacir 114, which posted five points.

Jun Mendoza’s JM San Leo Kons, Rene Medina’s Pax Renegade Amm and Lito Roque’s Deni shared third place honors with identical 4 1/2 points.

BJ Binangonan of Ito Ynares, Sagupaan Complexor 3000 of Patrick Antonio and Jade Resort I of Arman Santos finished with similar four points.

Meanwhile, the next NCA derby is set Oct. 12 and the fifth and last leg of the circuit on Oct. 19.
