MANILA, Philippines - Forty Brazilian models trade their high heels for running gear as they join the merry mix of runners vying in the Blue Water Day Spa fun run on Oct. 17 at the SM Mall of Asia grounds in Pasay City.
The South American beauties will be joining a host of celebrities, including newest BWDS endorsers Sam Milby and Mika Lagdameo-Martinez, making the event, which hopes to lure some 5,000 runners, a star-studded one.
Karylle, Boom Labrusca, running coach Rio dela Cruz, Daniel Matsunaga, and Fabio Ide are also entered in the event held to promote healthy lifestyle and wellness.
However, competition in the 3k, 5k and 10k races is also expected to be keen with cash prizes and fabulous items at stake for the top finishers in each category, according to the organizing Blue Water Day Spa and Event King Corp.
Registration is ongoing with fees pegged at P500 (3k), P600 (5k) and P700 (10k), inclusive of singlet, at Timex outlets at SM MOA and Glorietta, Rox at Bonifacio High Street, Columbia at Greenblet 5, Rest Toe Run at Gateway, Urban Luxe Facial Center and Spa at Ayala Alabang and Blue Water Day Spa in Makati, Ortigas, Eastwood, Tomas Morato and Capitol Hills.
