PBA execs grace SCOOP

MANILA, Philippines - Members of the Philippine Basketball Association executive board, headed by newly designated chair Rene Pardo, appear as the main guests in today’s SCOOP Sa Kamayan weekly session at the Kamayan Restaurant-Padre Faura.

Board members JB Baylon of Powerade and lawyer Mamerto Mondragon of Rain or Shine will discuss plans in the pro play’s 36th season which opens shop Oct. 3. Air21 team manager Allan Gregorio has also been invited to attend to the event.

Other guests in today’s forum, sponsored by PLDT, Mang Inasal and FILA, are soft tennis association president Jeff Tamayo and members of the Asian Games-bound RP soft tennis team as well as newly crowned Filipino world bodybuilding world champion Jerick Ternida.

Session starts at 11 a.m. and will be aired over UNTV at 6 p.m. and over Sports Radio at 3 p.m.
