AGC holds monthly at Sun Valley

MANILA, Philippines - The Architects Golf Club will hold its monthly tournament and the start of the qualifying round for the AGC Golfer of the Year matchplay today at the Sun Valley Golf Club with 136 players seeing action.

Shotgun start is set at 7:30 a.m.

Players are given points in a series of events in the AGC top player derby with competition in five groups. Defending champions in the event are Adones Baluyut ( Group 1), Henry Wee-Ebol ( 2); Benny Velasco (3), Greg Concepcion () and Mon Ajero (5).

Meanwhile, the University of the Philippines squad repulsed the University of Santo Tomas in the AGC inter-school side event to level their six-year old rivalry to three titles each at the Royal Northwoods recently.
