Crisano wants one last shot at PBA

-

MANILA, Philippines - Feisty veteran Fil-Am Alex Crisano wants to figure in the PBA post-season trade, hoping to suit up one last time in the pro league.

“I ‘m still young, and I want to play one conference. I will sign whatever they offer me and I will prove to them that I still have it regardless of what they say. I hope I will be given the chance to prove I could still do it,’ said the 6-foot-7 Crisano.

This came about as Air 21 Express traded its forward Doug Kramer for the Elasto Painters’ guard Marcy Arellano and Rain or Shine co-team owner Terry Que allegedly said that they would need a big man to reinforce the team.

Crisano, who is proud to have helped former team Barangay Ginebra to three championships, might just be the “big man” that Rain or Shine needs.

He said his 10-year stint at the country’s professional ball game as well as his three- championship experience will be an asset to Rain or Shine.

“I am willing to go back to the PBA and I believe I can bring Rain or Shine to the Finals, just like what I did for the Gin Kings,” Crisano says.

Last season, Crisano averaged 12 points, 16 rebounds and four assists per game. On his last game, he had 20 points and five three-point shots.

The New York-born Crisano also said he has good chemistry with Rain or Shine’s Fil-Am players, guard Sol Mercado and guard/forward Gabe Norwood.

“We can be the PBA’s dream team,” Crisano said.
