Dogs show Aug 7-8

MANILA, Philippines - The Asian Kennel Club Union of the Philippines, Inc. (AKCUPI) will hold its 35th and 36th International All-Breed Dog Shows next weekend at Tiendesitas, Ortigas Ave. cor. E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave. (C-5), Pasig City.

Seven breed groupings - herding, sporting, terrier, toy, non-sporting, working, and hound - will be fielded from which the best baby puppy, best Philippine-born and best-in-show will be chosen by two international all-breed judges from the United States and Taiwan.

Also on tap are the “Vanity Fur” best groomer competition under the auspices of Merial Phils. and the dog exhibition wherein dog trainer Randy Macalma will show the mathematics wits of the Labrador.
