Manny plays in T'nalak fest
MANILA, Philippines - Sarangani Representative and boxing icon Manny Pacquiao displays his basketball skills before South Cotabato fans when he plays in an exhibition match highlighting the 44th Foundation Anniversary of the province and the 11th T’nalak Festival tomorrow.
According to South Cotabato Gov. Arthur “Dodo” Pingoy, Pacquiao, who owns the MP Gensan Warriors in the Tournament of the Philippines (TOP), will suit up for the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) that will play against the Coke Ambassadors.
Interestingly, the Coke Ambassadors will be bannered by former PBA MVP Kenneth Duremdes, who hails from Koronadal – the capital city of South Cotabato.
Apart from Duremdes, who is known during his prime as “Captain Marbel,” also playing for Coke are Rodney Santos, Ronjay Enrile, Cesar Catli, Leo Avenido, Francis Allera, Mark Macapagal, RJ Rizada and Gerard Francisco.
