PVF looking for coaches, players

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Volleyball Federation (PVF) through its vice-president Gener Dungo is inviting all interested coaches, players and trainers to submit their application form and resume to the national team committee.

“We will conduct a tryout for the indoor and beach volleyball players to form the best team for any international events,” said Dungo, noting all aspiring men, women and youth (girls and boys) from different provinces can apply.

For aspiring men, women and youth head coaches, assistant coaches and trainers, the national team committee will screen their respective requirements to form a short list before deciding on the final composition of each team.

Dungo also said all indoor and beach volley coaches, assistants and trainers who will apply for the position must have an experience in bringing his/her team on championship level in any major league in the Philippines, should present their FIVB coaching seminar certificates, and must be of good morale character.    

“We made a good decision to revamp our men, women and youth team for indoor and beach volley teams because we’re looking at this as a long term program for us,” said Dungo.
