UE Kid Warriors tryout Wednesday

MANILA, Philippines - University of the East Junior Warriors head coach Mark Herrera will hold a basketball tryout Wednesday at the UE gym on Aurora blvd. to form an elementary division team for the upcoming Milo BEST Center tournament.

Students must be born in 1996 to 1999 and must be enrolled in UE.

Herrera, the winningest Batang PBA coach who piloted the Batang Talk N Text-QC squad to four straight championships, said this is the first time the school is forming an elementary team, which will be called “Kid Warriors”.

“We are training future Red Warriors this early and the Milo BEST is one tournament that can help build our future basketball players,” said Herrera.
