Team Woman Run listup ends June 24

MANILA, Philippines - Registration for the Team Woman Run ends on June 24 with a stellar field, from executives and managers in the corporate world, to the running buffs in the political and showbiz sectors and members of the various clubs, expected to see action.

A total prize of P200,000 will be at stake in the four-woman team relay spread over 21K or half marathon distance and divided into four legs at the Venice Piazza Mall at McKinley Hill.

Listup is open at Timex North Edsa, Timex MOA, Timex Southmall and Runnr Bonifacio High Street, according to the organizing Eventking Corp. Fees are pegged at P1,000 per team with two bottles of Woman by Lactacyd 200ml and proof of purchase (bottle and receipt) and P1,500 without proof or purchase.

Online registration is also available on www.teamwomanrun.com.

The event, sponsored by Timex and held to encourage women, including those achievers in their respective fields, to take up running as an inexpensive, convenient sport for a healthy lifestyle, features teams with three or four members aged 18-45 years old.

The kickoff leg will be a 10K run with the next set at 5K and the last two at 3K. A participant is allowed to run twice only in the first and last legs of the event backed by 100 Plus, Alaska Slim, Beauty Bar, Bluewater Day Spa, David’s Salon, Dole, Summit and Timex and media partners Multisport, Runnerspeak and Women’s Health.

Also on tap is an open 5K run event with fees pegged at P600 if no proof of purchase and P450 if with one bottle of Woman by Lactacyd 200ml and proof of purchase.
