MANILA, Philippines - It’s the Philippine lightweight championship at stake in tonight’s episode of Rod Nazario’s In This Corner over NBN-4.

Disputing the title in the 7-8 p.m. show presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Biogenic Isopropyl Alcohol and Petron are unbeaten Jay Solmiano and veteran Cris Alag.

Preceding the main bout is the light-flyweight clash set over four rounds between newcomers Rowell Rosia and Jay-R Emata.

Both bouts were part of the “Bakbakan sa Eastwood City” boxing card at Eastwood City recently, a joint venture by Rod Nazario’s In This Corner and Arci Boxing Promotion.

The International Boxing Federation (IBF) Pan-Pacific light-flyweight championship match between Sonny Boy Jaro and Armand Dela Cruz headlined the May 31 boxing card.
