All-breed dog show set weekend
MANILA, Philippines - The Asian Kennel Club Union of the Philippines, Inc. (AKCUPI) will hold its 33rd and 34th International All-Breed Dog Shows this weekend at Tiendesitas, Ortigas Ave. cor. E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue (C-5), Pasig City.
Two top-caliber international judges, Dorothy Jacobs, licensed international all-breed judge from the United Kennel Club, the second largest purebred registering club in the US, and Ryan Liao, vice-president of the Kennel Club of Myanmar, will adjudicate the shows, according to AKCUPI, chairman/president Henry Babiera.
The event has lured entries from seven breed groupings – herding, sporting, terrier, toy, non-sporting, working and hound. Each judge will pick the best puppy, best Philippine-born, and best-in-show.
