TnT-QC vs Derby Ace in title duel in

MANILA, Philippines - Batang Talk n Text Quezon-City blasted Powerade Batang Cebu, 97-39, while Batang B-Meg Derby Ace-Caloocan nipped Powerade Batang Bacolod, 70-68, at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium yesterday to set up a showdown for the 2010 Powerade Batang PBA Pilipinas crown.

The Batang Texters of coach Mark Herrera rode on an early surge to put away the challenge of their Bacolod rivals while the Batang Llamados had to lean on the endgame heroics of Patrick Cagara and Junel Nacpil to turn back the Cebuanos.

The title duel is set at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at the old San Juan gym.

Powerade Batang Bacolod and Powerade Batang Cebu dispute third place honors at 10 a.m.

Jolo Mendoza scored 30 points while Jay Prince Adalem added 23 for Batang TnT-QC, which rolled to its 10th straight victory, including a six-game sweep in the Coca-Cola Batang PBA Summer League where it beat Batang Derby Ace-Caloocan last week.
