Casey, Jeson take early exit

MANILA, Philippines - Francis Casey Alcantara and Jeson Patrombon bowed to superior opponents in the 46th Astrid Bowl Charleroi, Belgian International Junior Championships 2010 at the Charleroi-Marcinelle, Belgium.

Alcantara bowed to top-seed Jason Kubler of Australia, 6-4, 6-1, while Patrombon was humbled by second-seed Mate Zsiga of Hungary, 6-1, 6-3, in the second round of the tournament on clay.

In the first round, the 18-year-old Alcantara beat lucky loser Robin Cambier of Belguim, 6-1, 6-1, while Patrombon, 17, had a tougher time in winning over Darian King of Belarus, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.

Next up for Alcantara and Patrombon will be the French Open juniors championships where they hope to make a mark in this Grand Slam tournament.
