In This Corner features Landero

MANILA, Philippines - Rod Nazario’s In This Corner airs the title winning bout of reigning Oriental Pacific Boxing Federation mini-flyweight champion Michael Landero tonight, 7-8 p.m., on Channel 4.

Landero scored a ninth-round knockout of Japanese Kunichi Horikawa in their 12-round championship fight for the vacant 105-lb belt May 9 at the IMP Hall in Osaka.

The show is presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, Biogenic Isopropyl Alcohol and Petron.

Meanwhile, the Elorde Team Quattro is promoting a double championship on May 31 at the Central Plaza in Eastwood City.

Dubbed “Mandirigmang Pinoy-Bakbakan sa Eastwood City”, the boxing card features champion Arman Dela Cruz defending his International Boxing Federation (IBF) Pan Pacific light-flyweight title against Sonny Boy Jaro, and Jay Solmiano and Cris Alag fighting for the vacant Philippine lightweight title.
