PBA courtside reporters show stuff in 3-on-3

MANILA, Philippines - Hoopla, Basketball TV and SOLARtv’s premier 3-on-3 basketball tournament, gets under way today with a big field from various sectors seeing action at Skydome at SM City North EDSA.

PBA courtside reporters Magoo Marjon, Mico Halili, Chiqui Reyes and Dominic Uy and Manila club scene’s top DJs Regiel Orocay, Martin Pulgar, Ace Ramos and Richard Ronquillo head the long roster of teams vying for top honors in the day-long event of competition, fun and laughter.

Also on tap are special activities for spectators and mall goers, according to the organizers of the fund-raising event presented by BTV and SOLARtv and held to promote sportsmanship and healthy lifestyle among the participants.

Joining the 3-on-3 are Ryan Maagma, Venus Rosales, Elias Ilao and Jason Ilao of the Mobile Bar Industry (Soberclub); Jensen Ilagan, Jericho Ilagan, Carlo Franco and JA Coching of the tournament’s official outfitter Atleta; brokers Kristofer Carbonel, AJ Medina, JC Lumba and Ryan Sunio; and bloggers Jacque Ruby, Henry Abes, Fritz Caedo and Armand Lapus.

Gawad Kalinga is fielding in two teams composed of Arnel Escasinas, Reymart Sabiano, Billy Benzon and Nikko Barro for GK-1 and Michael Bautista, Marlon Gianan, James Alcantara and Ricky John Alcantara for GK-2.
