AGC holds anniversary golf

MANILA, Philippines - The Architects Golf Club holds its two-day anniversary tournament beginning today with a big field seeing action at the Baguio Country Club and Camp John Hay courses in Baguio City.

Events on tap are the team, a 10-to-count format event, and two-man best score competitions.

The Virtuoso team is headed by skipper Bobby Chua while the Elastikote, Knoxout and Wallguard squads will be led by team captains Jerry See, Jerry Cham and Jun Bonifacio, respectively.

Organizers of the event, sponsored by Boysen Paints, said the Stableford with applied handicap system will be used at the BCC while CJH will use the stroke play format.

The tournament’s other backers are Moldex, Panasonic, Emerald Vinyl, JME Supreme International, Inc., Philips Wires & Cables, Republic Powdercoat, Samitrade, Columbia Wires, Firefly Electric & Lighting and Kuysen Enterprises, Inc.
