Lascuña 1-shot off in Thailand

-

MANILA, Philippines - Tony Lascuña shot a five-under 67 to trail Udorn Duangdecha of Thailand by one stroke halfway through the $50,000 Singha Pattaya Open at the Burapha Golf Club in Thailand last night.

Lascuña, runner-up here last year, eagled the par-5 14th to spike his round as he pooled a 136 for joint second with Teerawat Poipong, who carded a second straight 68.

They stood a shot behind Duangdecha, who fired eight birdies against two bogeys for a 66 and a 135.

Artemio Murakami, winner of the Mercedes-Benz Tour’s kickoff leg at Manila Southwoods two weeks ago, also bounced back with a 66 after a 72 as he wheeled back into contention with a 138.
