NCA derby under way
MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance (NCA) holds its weekly derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City today with the event serving as a prelude to the NCA World Championship Derby set next month.
Patrick Antonio, Rep. Iggy Arroyo, Gov. Ito Ynares, Ferdie Buensalida, Efren Canlas, Eric de Guzman and Eric dela Rosa head the cast in the NCA derby, sponsored by the Batangas and Cebu groups.
Others in the fold are Jet Fernando, Pete Ison, Osang dela Cruz, Tommy Chua, Jun Jingco, Rudy Jingco, J.V. Magsaysay, Ricky Magtoto, Rene Medina, Ellan Nagaño, Elmer Nepomuceno, Gerry Ramos, Ruel Ricafort, Armand and Manny Santos, Jun Soriano, James Uy, Mario Villamor, Bebot Villar, Ernie Austria, and the Madlangbayan brothers.
Meanwhile, the NCA World Championship eight-cock derby, which features the top Filipino and American breeders, will be held on May 25, 27 and 29.
Also on tap is the NCA big event, a six-cock derby, on June 8.
