MANILA, Philippines - The ninth Forest Hills Invitational gets going today with 300 players making up the 150 member-guest teams vying for top honors at the Forest Hills Golf Club course in Antipolo.
Format for the first 18 holes will be net four-ball stroke play using the Stableford scoring system with the final round combining medal scores of each member to make up the total team score.
Presented by PLDT, SME Nation, Diamond Auto Group-Pioneer and Golforce, the event stakes a brand new Hyundai Tucson for an ace on the 160-yard No. 13. Aces made on the three other par-3s will be worth a golf cart.
Pagcor Paranaque and Sumitomo Chemicals are the other backers of the event with Turf Co., Taishan Insurance Brokers Phils., Inc., Hyundai, Midori Saisho Corp./Kart Plaza and Sports Specialist Worldwide, Inc. as hole-in-one sponsors.
