NCA derby gets going

MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance (NCA) holds another derby tonight with the country’s top cockers fielding in their entries at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Hosted by Gerry Ramos and Charlie Ang and the Firefly group of Beboy Uy and Ernie Austria, the event, sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor, features the likes of breeders Patrick Antonio, Ferdie Buensalida, Efren Canlas, Eric de Guzman, Eric dela Rosa, Jet Fernando, Pete Ison, Jun Jingco, Rudy Jingco, JV Magsaysay;

Ricky Magtoto, Rene Medina, Ellan Nagaño, Elmer Nepomuceno, Ruel Ricafort, Armand Santos, Manny Santos, the Cebu and Batangas Group, Jun Soriano, Jamey Uy, Mario Villamor, Bebot Villar, the Madlangbayan brothers and Danny Teves.

Meanwhile, four entries emerged co-champions in the April 6 derby, with the Phoenix of Villamor, FBJ Gamefarm of Buensalida, TR Oragon of Allen and Teng Rañola and the Lucky Yama of FK Pasay May 5 all scoring four points.
