-

LIPA, Batangas  , Philippines – Jobim Carlos shot a rare albatross and stole the spotlight from teammate Miguel Tabuena with a tournament-best 57 points as Canlubang completed its romp in Division I of the Jungolf Interclub golf championships at the Mt. Malarayat Golf and Country Club course here Wednesday.

Carlos holed his second shot on the par-5 en route to a three-under 69, sparking a final-day 161-point explosion by Canlubang that led them to a 26-point victory over Manila Southwoods, which had a 157 for 447.

Rupert Zaragosa and Gio Gandionco carded identical 52s to complete scoring for Canlubang as Tabuena slumped to just 51 and did not count. Tabuena, however, held on to win the individual title by three over Carlos.

Aguinaldo, behind Justin Dy, compiled a 147 to snatch the Division II crown while Carlos Philippe Palanca and Bernice Olivarez-Ilas led Alabang to the Division III plum in this curtain-raiser of the 2010 ICTSI Jungolf Summer Circuit.
