Inter-province chess up

MANILA, Philippines - Tagaytay and Palawan head the crack roster of 30 teams vying for top honors in the National Inter-Province chess team championship which starts April 11 at the Cabagnot Cultural and Training Center in Old Buswang, Aklan.

Tagaytay will be bannered by GM Darwin Laylo, while Palawan will be led by GM Rogelio Antonio Jr.

Also entered in the annual chessfest, sanctioned by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines is LWUA-A (GM John Paul Gomez).
