Jr Talk N Text-Quezon City to hold tryout

MANILA, Philippines -   Three-time Jr. Talk N Text-Quezon City champion coach Mark Herrera will hold a basketball tryout for this summer’s Batang PBA tournament on Tuesday, 5-8 p.m., at the Valleverde 5 subdivision in Pasig.

Participants must submit NSO birth certificatss to show they are born from 1999-2001.   They must also present barangay certificates stating they are bonafide Quezon City residents.

“I’m proud to be the one to discover these boys’ skills and talents. These boys are the future of the Philippine basketball, and it’s a great pleasure to be given again a role in the development of their talents,” said Herrera, also head coach of the RP Youth 13-under team.

Herrera is assisted by Ateneo SBP head coach PJ Navarro, Ateneo SBP assistant coach Homer Bautista and Edwin Ancheta and Benjie Diswe of the UE Jr. Warriors.

The team is supported by Talk ‘n Text and Smart management headed by PLDT president Manny Pangilinan and senior vice president Ricky Vargas.
