NCA to hold two derbies at Ynares

MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance (NCA) will hold a pair of action-packed derbies on March 9 and 16 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City with the country’s top breeders tipped to vie for the overall crown.

The March 9 event will be hosted by former Rizal Gov. Ito Ynares.

Expected to field in their entries are Ronnie Puno, Emil Chua, Lito Orillaza and Vice Mayor Nestor Mercado, Kapitan Goto, Ricky Valencia, Boy Torres, Phillip Chiongbian and Jorge Araneta.

Bebot Uy and the Firefly Group of Ernie Austria and Hessie Mallillin will host the other derby on March 16.

Both derbies are sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor.

Organizers have invited top cockers from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to compete in the event, led by Tony Marfori, Ricky Valencia, Kapitan Goto, Ka Luding, Edwin Yap, Kenneth Chung, Charlie Ang, Emil Chua and Boy Marzo.

Also joining the event are NCA members Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Patrick Antonio, Ferdie Buensalida, Efren Canlas, Eric de Guzman, Eric dela Rosa, Jet Fernando, Pete Ison, Jun Jingco, Rudy Jingco, JV Magsaysay, Ricky Magtoto;
