BEST cage, volley clinics slated

MANILA, Philippines - As summer sets in, BEST Center gives boys and girls the chance to participate in basketball and volleyball classes once more.

Basketball and volleyball clinics will be held at the Ateneo College covered courts while cage sessions will be conducted at Xavier School on different days.

Basketball lessons (level 1, all ages; level 2, 11 below) will be staged April 6-29 every Monday/Thursday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and (level 2, 12 above; levels 4 and 6) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Tuesday/Friday (levels 3 and 5) at Ateneo.

Volleyball classes are also scheduled at Ateneo every Tuesday/Friday (level 1 and 2) from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Xavier School basketball clinics will be held April 6-30 every Tuesday/Friday level 1 (12 above) and levels 3 and 4 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and every Wednesday/Saturday on April 7-May 1 for introduction to basketball, level 1 (11 below) and level 2 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Early registration for all venues will be accepted on Saturday, March 6 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Ateneo College covered courts and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Xavier School’s Fr. Rafael Cortina Sports Center.

The country’s pioneer basketball school, BEST Center has graduated many of the past and current crop of stars in the varsity, commercial and professional leagues here.
