UFL action resumes with 3 matches

- Josue Jamlang -

After an action-packed weekend of football, the drama continues in the United Football League with three matches slated this Sunday at the Nomads football grounds in Merville, Parañaque.

Nomads Aloha Boardsports and Japan K-Line clash in a 4 p.m. second division match. Both squads aim to zoom in on division leader Global Smartmatic in the standings.

In the 6 p.m. game, Kaya Digiprint and Air Force Rider face off in a highly anticipated matchup between fancied squads.

Recent LBC-UFL Cup champions Air Force will be desperate to get their campaign rolling after their opening day draw. But Kaya, fresh from a  4-1 drubbing of Green Archers United, will be a stern test for them.

Capping off the night will be UFL-LBC Cup runners-up Army Phiten going against Union Rudy Project at 8 p.m. in what could be a feisty and physical match.

Whether you’re a football aficionado or just looking for pulsating entertainment, the dose of Philippine football this Sunday will not disappoint. It’s the UFL. It’s our game!
