Tech/Pansun reigns in ABC Sponsors Cup

MANILA, Philippines - Lino Diamante, Japp Soco and Boy Roldan of Universal Tech/Pansun combined for 2749 points to rule the Sponsors Cup of the Architects Bowling Club at the Green Valley Bowling Lanes in Pasig City last week.

The Firefly-Royu team of Violy Magsakay, Eugene Ferraris and bowler of the week Hermie Prudente (840) copped second place with 2657 points while Walter Villanueva, Jonathan Lim and Tony Naval powered Crown Pipes to third place with 2562 points.

Boysen Paints, composed of Jerry Cham, Paeng Villanueva and Greg Mare, submitted 2545 points to finish fourth in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Boysen Konstruct had 2542, ProActive came up with 2526, Supreme Steel Pipes scored 2526 and Medwest had 2506 to finish fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively.

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Concrete Venture, Asian Lumber, ABC Phils., Duraflex, Ta-Tong, Stone 2000, Toto, Atlanta Pipes, Philflex Wires and Cables, Hocheng Phils., Emerald Vinyl, American Wires, SP&A and Unitec Pipes, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the Valentine doubles mixed, also at the Green Valley lanes.
