Firefly rules NCA derby

MANILA, Philippines - The Firefly 12 entry of Bebot Uy of Davao City bested the field to emerge the solo winner in the fifth NCA (National Cockers Association) 5-cock derby circuit at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City recently.

Goldquest of Tommy Chua and Osang dela Cruz, Phoenix of Mario Villamor, Salpuka-Tata Pete San Leo of Pete Ison, Jun Soriano and Mayor Ellan Nagaño and Erwin Camsur of Erwin Nepomuceno finished tied for second with four points apiece in the event sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor.

Meanwhile, Patrick Antonio will host the NCA 5-cock derby on Feb. 9 with at least 100 fights slated, also at the Ynares arena.

Eric dela Rosa, Ricky Magtot, Ruel Ricafort, Ferdie Buensalida, Ernie Austria, Efren Canlas, Bebot Roxas, FBJ Gamefarm, Diego, Cebu and Batangas Group, Boy Bata, Ka Luding, Buboy dela Cruz, Butchoy Olano and Rudy Jinco.
