PBA writing contest set

MANILA, Philippines - Sports columnists Recah Trinidad of the Inquirer and Quinito Henson of The Star will hold rare lectures on the fundamentals of news, feature and column writing an hour before the Phoenix Fuel-PBA Press Corps Sports Writing Contest two weeks from now at the Araneta Coliseum.

Registration for the annual contest open to all bona fide college students in Metro Manila and nearby provinces continues up to the end of the KFC-PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinal round.

Interested parties may call the PJBA office at 4702768 and 69 and look for Mich Flores or Hazel Ancheta. Students are advised to leave their contact numbers so they could be informed of the actual date of the contest.
