NAMSSA 2nd leg up at Speedworld

-

MANILA, Philippines - NAMSSA stages the second leg of the 2010 National Motocross Series on Feb. 7 at the Speedworld Circuit in SM City Bicutan.

The Speedworld circuit by Monark Equipment features fast stretches and tricky jumps that make the races more exciting.

The opening round, held in the same venue on Jan. 24, drew 150 entries competing in 14 different classes.

After the inaugural leg, newly elected UAM president Stephan Carapiet expressed gratitude to Cagayan Rep. Jack Enrile, the race chairman, for his unwavering support to NAMSSA’s programs and activities.

“On behalf of the whole NAMSSA family, riders, managers, sponsors, marshals, mechanics and all, I thank the Honorable Representative Enrile for being always there for NAMSSA,” said Carapiet. “His recent pledge of support will definitely be a big boost to our mission of developing motorcycle sports in the country.”

Round 2 will also serve as the final tune-up leg for local riders who will participate in the 2010 Mayor Edward Hagedorn Cup, the opening round of the 2010 FIM Asian Motocross Series which takes off in Puerto Princesa City on Feb. 21.
